Real Student Project
Teaching students about cello
Launched an initiative to encourage more students to learn about the cello and how to read sheet music.
Student Pseudonym:
Katie

We helped Katie turn a hobby into purpose
When Katie first came to Apex Admit, she described herself as “just another cello kid.” In our first strategy session, we learned she’d been volunteering at her church’s daycare and loved teaching. We helped her connect those dots (music and teaching) and shaped that into a nonprofit organization offering free beginner cello lessons to children online.

We guided Katie in raising money from Google
Once the idea had structure, we worked with Sofia to incorporate as a 501(c)(3). We then assisted her in preparing her first real grant application. We helped her outline clear impact metrics (hours taught, students reached, volunteer retention) and coached her through her pitch. Together, we refined her story and presentation until she earned a $112,000 grant over multiple years from Google to fund music education.

We helped Katie scale to 144 countries
As the organization grew, we helped Katie think beyond local lessons. Equipped with funding from Google, we guided her through content strategy, SEO, and partnerships. Soon, her materials reached over 125,000 students across 144 countries on five continents, all powered by a simple idea and smart execution.
